Anfi Golf By Lopesan
Anfi Golf By Lopesan is an 18-hole, par-72 course located in the Tauro Valley, in the southwest of Gran Canaria. It opened in 2007 and is set on a spacious site, nestled between volcanic mountains and a semi-desert landscape.
Designed by Robert Von Hagge and his team, the course features an Arizona-style layout with elevation changes, elevated tees, and large greens. It stretches over 5,800 meters from the yellow tees and 6,300 meters from the white tees, with slopes and elevation shifts that affect shot strategies. Covering more than 650,000 square meters, it includes lakes, waterfalls, and lush vegetation contrasting with the dry surroundings. The design blends wide fairways with clearly defined hazard zones, where losing the line of play can lead to slopes or natural ravines, prompting players to think beyond just distance. Bunkers are strategically placed to come into play from the tee and on subsequent shots, while the greens — broad and open at the back — invite attacking shots when positioning allows favorable.
The facility also includes a 9-hole par-3 course and a practice area, increasing options for training and short game practice.
