Hyatt Regency Vilamoura Algarve sits right in the centre of Vilamoura, a few minutes’ walk from the beach and the casino and a short stroll from the marina, the best known in Portugal. Formerly the Dom Pedro Vilamoura, the hotel reopened in 2026 under the Hyatt Regency brand after a complete renovation.

Its 257 rooms and suites have a bright, contemporary design, and many of them enjoy sea views.

Food is one of the hotel’s strong points. Brasa Coastal Steakhouse brings fish and meat to the grill with a real Algarve touch, Lume Lobby & Bar is a relaxed place for a drink after the round, and the Terrace Pool & Bar serves cocktails and light dishes by the pool.

To keep active between rounds there is a Technogym fitness centre, padel and pickleball courts, outdoor yoga and Pilates in season, and mini golf. The outdoor pools and kids’ playground make it a good choice for families too, and more than 1,000 m² of event space, with a ballroom for up to 380 guests, works very well for groups.

For golfers the main advantage is the location: the Old Course is about 3 km away and the other Vilamoura courses, such as Pinhal, Laguna, Millennium and Victoria, are only a few minutes’ drive. After golf, the beach, the marina and its restaurants are right on your doorstep.
