Mijas Golf
Los Lagos golf course was the first to be built in 1976, designed by Robert Trent Jones Snr., with 52 hectares of wide fairways, lakes, and strategic bunkers. It presents a philosophy of “difficult par, easy bogey” and stands out for 9 lakes that serve as natural obstacles on 11 holes, as well as a varied native grove. On the other hand, Los Olivos, built in 1984 and designed by Cabell Robinson, covers an area of approximately 40 hectares. It underwent a major renovation in the years 2000/2001. Its greens are smaller, with steep slopes and well protected by bunkers. The strategic presence of numerous olive trees around the streets demands precision in the game.
