This Privacy Policy explains how Casanova Golf SL processes personal data in connection with the mobile application “Casanova Golf” (the “App”).<\/strong><\/p>\n

Casanova Golf SL is responsible for the processing of personal data carried out through the App when it provides travel information, documents and communications to its clients.<\/p>\n

2. Scope of this policy<\/h2>\n

This policy applies to the use of the Casanova Golf mobile application by clients and, where applicable, by members of the Casanova Golf team who access internal functions.<\/p>\n

The App is intended for clients with an active or published trip managed by Casanova Golf. Access to client content is not public and is normally provided through a trip code supplied by Casanova Golf.<\/p>\n

This policy complements the general privacy policy available on the Casanova Golf website. Where the App links to external services or to the Casanova Golf website, those services may also apply their own privacy terms.<\/p>\n

3. Personal data processed through the App<\/h2>\n

Depending on the trip and the features enabled for the user, the App may process the following categories of information:<\/p>\n

  • Trip code or access code used to display the relevant itinerary.<\/li>\n
  • Client identification data, such as name, where included in the trip information or documents.<\/li>\n
  • Travel itinerary information, including dates, activities, transfers, accommodation details, golf courses, tee times, services booked and related notices.<\/li>\n
  • Travel documents, vouchers or other documents associated with the trip.<\/li>\n
  • Information about notices read or displayed in the App.<\/li>\n
  • Technical session data necessary to operate the App, including, where applicable, internal team session tokens.<\/li>\n
  • Information stored locally on the device to allow the App to display the latest available trip information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The App does not require users to create a public account and does not request access to the user’s camera, contacts, calendar, personal files or device geolocation.<\/p>\n

    4. Purposes of processing<\/h2>\n

    • To allow clients to access information about their trip from a mobile device.<\/li>\n
    • To display itineraries, activities, golf course details, tee times, accommodation information, transfers, documents and relevant travel notices.<\/li>\n
    • To provide an offline or locally available copy of the latest trip information loaded in the App.<\/li>\n
    • To allow Casanova Golf team members, where applicable, to access internal app functions securely.<\/li>\n
    • To maintain the correct technical operation and security of the App and its own backend services.<\/li>\n
    • To respond to user requests sent through available contact channels.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      5. Legal basis<\/h2>\n

      The processing carried out through the App is generally based on one or more of the following legal bases:<\/p>\n

      • Performance of a contract or pre-contractual relationship: <\/strong>where the App is used to provide the client with information and documents related to a travel service arranged by Casanova Golf.<\/li>\n
      • Legitimate interest: <\/strong>to maintain the security, proper functioning and continuity of the App and to facilitate communication with clients in relation to their trip.<\/li>\n
      • Legal obligations: <\/strong>where processing or retention is necessary to comply with applicable legal, tax, accounting or consumer regulations.<\/li>\n
      • Consent: <\/strong>where a specific feature or external action requires the user to decide whether to open or use a third-party service, such as WhatsApp, Google Maps, an email application or a telephone application.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        6. Technical services, local storage and third-party services<\/h2>\n

        The App uses Casanova Golf’s own technical services to provide access to trip information, documents and notices. The main processing is carried out through Casanova Golf’s own WordPress\/API environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

        7. SDKs and services not currently used<\/h2>\n

        At the date of this policy, the App does not use the following services or features:<\/p>\n

        • Google Analytics or analytics SDKs.<\/li>\n
        • Integrated Google Maps SDK.<\/li>\n
        • Facebook\/Meta SDK.<\/li>\n
        • Sentry or external crash reporting services.<\/li>\n
        • Advertising SDKs.<\/li>\n
        • Payment systems.<\/li>\n
        • Push notifications.<\/li>\n
        • Own geolocation tracking.<\/li>\n
        • Camera, contacts, calendar or access to the user’s personal files.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          The App has been developed using Expo\/React Native technology. Casanova Golf does not currently use Expo services for analytics, tracking, authentication, push notifications or operational processing of client personal data.<\/p>\n

          8. External links and user-initiated actions<\/h2>\n

          Some App functions may open third-party services only when the user expressly taps the relevant action. Examples include opening Google Maps for directions, opening WhatsApp to contact Casanova Golf, or opening the email or telephone application configured on the device.<\/p>\n

          When the user chooses to open one of these external services, the App may provide the minimum information necessary to perform the requested action, such as an address, coordinates, telephone number, email address or pre-filled message. The subsequent processing by those third-party services is governed by their own privacy policies and settings.<\/p>\n

          9. Disclosure of data and processors<\/h2>\n

          Casanova Golf does not sell personal data and does not use personal data from the App for advertising purposes.<\/p>\n

          Data may be processed by technical service providers that support Casanova Golf’s own website, backend, hosting, security, backups, email or infrastructure services, where such processing is necessary to provide the service and subject to the applicable contractual safeguards.<\/p>\n

          Where relevant, additional information about website\/backend providers may be included in the general privacy policy available at https:\/\/www.casanova.golf\/politica-privacidad\/.<\/p>\n

          Personal data may also be disclosed where required by law, competent authorities, courts or public bodies, or where necessary for the exercise or defence of legal claims.<\/p>\n

          10. Security and data in transit<\/h2>\n

          Casanova Golf applies reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, loss or misuse.<\/p>\n

          Communications between the App and Casanova Golf’s own services are intended to be carried out through secure connections. Access to trip content is restricted through a trip code or, where applicable, internal team credentials.<\/p>\n

          Users should keep their trip code confidential and should not share it with unauthorised third parties.<\/p>\n

          11. Data retention<\/h2>\n

          Personal data will be retained for as long as necessary to manage the trip, provide access to relevant documents and communications, comply with legal obligations and handle possible responsibilities arising from the service.<\/p>\n

          Information stored locally in the App may remain on the device until the user logs out, clears the App data, deletes the App or until the App replaces it with updated information. Deleting the App from the device does not necessarily delete data retained by Casanova Golf where retention is legally or contractually required.<\/p>\n

          12. User rights<\/h2>\n

          Users may exercise their data protection rights under applicable law, including the rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and data portability, where legally applicable.<\/p>\n

          Requests may be sent to: info@golfcasanova.com. To protect user privacy, Casanova Golf may request additional information necessary to verify the identity of the requester before processing the request.<\/p>\n

          Users also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Espanola de Proteccion de Datos – AEPD) or the competent supervisory authority, particularly if they consider that their rights have not been properly addressed.<\/p>\n

          13. Minors<\/h2>\n

          The App is not intended for independent use by minors. Where information relating to minors appears in travel documentation, it is processed only where necessary for the management of the trip and in accordance with the applicable legal basis.<\/p>\n

          14. Changes to this Privacy Policy<\/h2>\n

          Casanova Golf may update this Privacy Policy when new features, technical services or providers are introduced, or when legal, operational or security requirements change.<\/p>\n

          If the App later incorporates additional services such as analytics, push notifications, crash reporting, integrated maps, payment systems or other third-party services that affect personal data processing, this Privacy Policy and, where applicable, the information declared in Google Play will be updated before or together with the publication of the relevant App version.<\/p>\n
